# Moderation & Approvals

## Overview

Amondo provides a managed curation and moderation service, where all content sourcing, review and selection is handled by our in-house team. The process means that every piece of content displayed within an Imprint aligns with the agreed campaign brief, brand guidelines and platform standards.

Clients can define how hands-on they wish to be in the review and approval stages. All selected content is human-moderated to maintain accuracy, relevance and suitability for publication.

## Moderation process

All content displayed through managed delivery is manually reviewed and curated by Amondo’s team, following the Imprint Brief provided by the client. The process includes:

* Reviewing posts, captions and videos in full before selection
* Applying inclusion and exclusion rules as defined in the Brief (e.g. approved hashtags, accounts or topics)
* Excluding negative, inappropriate or off-brand content by default
* Reviewing any age-gated, sensitive or competitor-related material in line with client instructions
* Making sure all selected content complies with the source platform’s terms and Amondo’s usage rights policies

Moderated content is always opt-in; nothing is automatically published. Each piece is evaluated individually by a curator before being approved for inclusion.

When explicit consent is required before using creator or user-generated content, Amondo can handle this as part of the moderation workflow. See [Getting Explicit Consent to Use Content](/trust-and-compliance/usage-rights/permissions-and-rights/getting-explicit-consent-to-use-content.md) for guidance on how consent is requested and recorded.

## Briefing

Each Imprint or campaign begins with a live **Content Brief**, which outlines curation rules and objectives. This document can be updated at any time and acts as the single source of truth for all moderation activity. For details on creating and managing a brief, see [Briefing](/managed-delivery/briefing.md).

A Brief may include:

* Hashtags, accounts or keywords to include or avoid
* Content sources (e.g. websites, folders or feeds)
* Tone and visual direction
* Scheduling or frequency of updates
* Any special considerations (e.g. embargoed content, partnership launches)

Clients can update or create new briefs at any time, provided this is communicated and confirmed with Amondo.

## Approvals and previews

Before publication, curated content can be previewed through a private, shareable web link. Clients may review and approve content at any stage of the process. No content is made public without the client’s consent unless otherwise agreed.

## Communication

A dedicated communication channel (typically WhatsApp or Slack) is created for each live project. This channel connects the client and Amondo's curation team, allowing for real-time discussion, clarification and feedback during the moderation process.

## Languages and time zones

Amondo's moderation team operates globally and can deliver managed services in any language and time zone. Clients may choose a moderation cadence (e.g. real-time, daily, weekly or one-off updates) to suit campaign requirements.
